Fly, my favorite pet
Best pet I ever had on this planet was an autumn fly. I had several last years pleasure to have many autumn flies inside the house. In October till November. My last pet fly was eight weeks old! I call them all Betty. And I have many beautiful memories with my pet flies.
Once, I rescued one, as she flew into a quite cold room and we left home for several days. I found her near death and gave her immediately a sugar water from my finger. She return to health. All my flies loved to watch me cook and they loved to eat and taste different things. One loved avocado the most. Flies are very good companions in the kitchen. They come and greet you every morning, they like to sit on you and listen. I had flies, which I could hold and scratch. The last fly loved to sit at my nose after I spoke to her. They tend to follow me in the house.
The only disadvantage with flies as pets is, that they are so small. In a big house its quite hard to know where your pet fly is and if there are more flies, it's hard to know who is who. My last fly disappeared after eight weeks. Maybe, she was eaten by my new Peterbald cat.
Anyway, I always wanted to make a short about Betty. So I start with their Lord, the Beelzebub. I am sure you have no doubt how high standing I have in front of this Lord because how I am threatening his flies. Like in a paradise.
